Alexandra Palace 2018


Last Friday (November 9th) saw the bands only UK show of 2018 take place at a sold out Alexandra Palace. The show saw £1 from every ticket sold was donated to Action Against Hunger’s MealTickets, a powerful campaign aimed at raising money to save the lives of malnourished children across the world.

Bernard Sumner, said: “The MealTickets campaign is a really simple but effective way for us to work together with our fans to help children and their families around the world.

“Life-threatening hunger is something most people won’t ever experience but music is something we can all relate to. It transcends all cultures, it’s a way to communicate and to unite us all to effect real change. We are proud to be part of this life-saving initiative.”

TOTAL: from Joy Division to New Order To Be Released On Vinyl


New Order are proud to announce the release of TOTAL from Joy Division to New Order on vinyl.  Originally released in June 2011 on CD, TOTAL from Joy Division to New Order will be available on vinyl for the very first time on 30th November 2018.


Featuring single versions of tracks from both Joy Division and New Order mastered for vinyl by Frank Arkwright from his 2011 remasters. The iconic album cover was created by Howard Wakefield with art direction from Peter Saville. 


TOTAL contains New Order’s UK Top 10 singles Blue Monday, True Faith, Regret and the Number 1 single World in Motion along with classic Joy Division tracks Love Will Tell Us Apart, Transmission, She’s Lost Control and Atmosphere.

Mark Reeder, a friend and associate of New Order has produced an album for a chinese band STOLEN. Bernard Sumner said "Stolen are a young Chinese electronic band trying to carve out their own unique sound in a sometimes overwhelming environment of commercial ‘junk music’ I think this is a brave new album from Stolen and I commend their efforts to shape the future sound of China."

Don’t miss your chance to see the upcoming documentary New Order: Decades, directed by Mike Christie. After the world premiere at Festival Number 6 this past weekend, attended by Stephen and Gillian, the film will be shown on Sky Arts on September 22nd.
Part concert, part documentary, the film follows the band's preparations in the re-staging of our collaboration So It Goes… with artist Liam Gillick and the 12- piece synthesiser orchestra that captured the headlines during International Festival 2017.
